    This is the best camera at this price range. It features a weather sealing which is only offered by Canon and Nikon on their very expensive camera. Weather sealing enables you to use the camera under the rain. It also has the tougher body. It features 16 megapixel sensor, sounds less but it has higher ISO up to ISO 51200 which is high compared to the other camera featured here. It also has 9 cross type Auto focus points compared to only 1 offered by the other camera feature in this article. It has 6fps burst rate, pentaprism viewfinder and twin dial, those features are only available on much expensive DSLR of Canon, Nikon and Sony. Overall this camera is the best value for your money. This probably best DSLR for beginners is you are planning to step up on your photography because it has the features found on more expensive camera.

    Sony is changing the game by offering translucent mirror technology. This Sony SLT-58 is not a DSLR technically speaking. While it looks like an ordinary DSLR, it has electronic viewfinder instead of a pentamirror or pentaprism. It also uses a translucent fix mirror instead of a flipping mirror. The advantage of this technology is that it allows you to use the phase detect auto focus on live view and view mode which is faster than the usual contrast detect AF.

Beginners in photography always has low budget so we have chosen these DSLRs because it is cheap and has good features. Of course more expensive DSLR are better but if you are just using it for occasions then it is not practical to buy one. Remember to upgrade your skills first by reading books, attending seminars and practicing before upgrading your camera. These camera is more than enough for any situations. But if you are looking into professional career as a photographer then I advice you to go for higher models today rather than upgrading later will cost you more because value of camera especially the cheaper one depreciates fast.

We have included the Sony option even though it is somewhat pricey compared to Canon and Nikon in order to have an option for brand. Nikon and Canon are the biggest name on the DSLR industry but Sony is now competing well. We just hope that they can offer lower price than Nikon and Canon can offer. If this happens we think that Sony can win over the two big names. While Pentax is not so popular compared to the 3, they produce amazing camera. They offers features like the weather sealing that is not present on the lower end camera of the Canon and Nikon and also Sony. We really think that Pentax is not just smart when it comes to advertising.
