    Nikon D3400 replaces the Nikon D3300. Is it a worth upgrade? The answer is no, if you have D3300, better keep it.  The only ‘big’ difference between the D3400 and D3300 is that the D3400 has built in wifi and bluetooth. This is the entry level camera of Nikon and also the cheapest on their lineup.  It may be cheap but it produces good image and on par with some high end models.

    Canon 1300D replaces the 1200D and there is no big difference on both of them. If you have limited budget you can go with the second hand 1200D. This is also the entry level camera of canon and also the cheapest. But comparing it to Nikon D3400, Canon is way too behind. So why would you pick this instead of Nikon? The only reason is that Canon has better and cheaper lens lineup. After sales service is also better on Canon.

    Nikon D5500 belongs to Advanced Entry Level camera, the next level after Entry level Camera D3400. This is for individual that is more serious on their photography but have limited budgets. It offers you better autofocus, faster shooting speed and a tilting touch screen that the D3400 don’t offer.
