5 Special features of Facebook
Facebook has created some tools for managing stake in its sprawling online empire. All of these are available but not noticed that were incredibly useful.
1. ‘Where you’re logged in’
‘Where you’re logged in’ is a setting that shows all of your active sessions on Facebook, with location. This is useful especially if you log into your Facebook account in different devices because you can end any active sessions using this setting. This prevents other people from having access to your Facebook account.
2. ‘Messenger.com’
Messenger is always paired with Facebook. If you get a notification from Messenger, you will get a notification from Facebook as well. But if the messages are the only thing important to you and you do not want to see the notifications from Facebook, you can visit ‘Messenger.com’. ‘Messenger.com’ is a website that you can go to for the primary purpose of using the Messenger feature of Facebook.
3. ‘Facebook Us’
‘Facebook Us’ is a feature that shows you how your relationship with your partner looks on Facebook, by collating all your information onto one page. To use this feature, visit Facebook.com/us.
4. ‘See less’
This feature on Facebook will prompt you to see fewer of your ex’s posts and to limit the number of your own Facebook posts that are visible to your ex when you downgrade from ‘in a relationship’ to ‘single’.
5. ‘Legacy’
‘Legacy’ is a Facebook feature where you nominate a Facebook friend to take care of your account if you pass away.
It doesn’t give them full access to your old content or messages. The Facebook friend nominated to take care of your account will be able to respond to new friend requests, pin posts to your timeline (such as ‘BTW I am dead’) and update your profile picture.
Facebook became one of the remarkable social media platforms in the world wide web. Users of Facebook must really know what its settings are for. Using such platforms knows its limitations that is why there are tools provided that were discussed.
