Facebook offers Free Internet connection
Facebook in partnership Smart Communications Inc announced the launching of a app that offers free internet for the Philippine users. The application is called to offer free internet is called internet.org and can be downloaded via Googles playstore. The internet.org app will offer free mobile internet connection without data charges for subscribers of Smart,TalkNText and Sun.
Unfortunately internet.org only provides free mobile internet for limited websites. But those websites are very essential to everyone.

Smart Communications Inc is the first telco company to offer internet.org app in the Philippines. According to estimates from the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines, only 38 percent of the Filipino had Internet access. This initiative aimed to make mobile Internet services available to two-thirds of the world who are not yet connected, said Zuckerberg in his Facebook post.
“We’re one step closer to connecting the world as we launched Internet.org in the Philippines. Now everyone in the country can have free access to Internet services for health, education, jobs and communication on the Smart network,” he said.
