Iphone 7: what’s new?

Apple has just unveiled the most awaited Iphone 7. Apple claims that is the best iphone they have created so far. But what really makes this iphone best? Do you need to upgrade or wait for the iphone 7s instead? Here are the things you need to know about the new iphone:

1. Water and Dust resistant – Here at last, the feature many wished that other brands like sony and samsung has been offering for quite some time now. Iphone 7 is the first iphone to be water and dust resistant. You can take it under water up to 1 meter deep in 30 minutes. You can get this feature for less price with brands like samsung and sony so why not offer this to a more expensive Iphone?
2. Optically Stabilized Camera – It offers 12MP camera with optical image stabilization. It compensates your hand shakes to get steady shots especially on low lights. This will also enables you to shoots more stable videos.
3. Dual rear camera – It features a dual rear camera for better and clearer zoom. It is also used for depth of field simulation for a blurred background like an image capture using a DSLR. Unfortunately this feature is only available on Iphone 7plus model.
4. No Headphone jack – To enable them to create thinner iphone, they have to sacrifice the headphone jack. Apple now supply a lightning connected earpods and a lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack converted for you to be able to use other 3.5mm jack headphones. Bad news is that you can’t listen to music using headphones and charge at the same time. It is however possible using their newly develop airpods – a wireless version of their headset. This has a 5 hours playback time per charge. This cost around $160(around Php7500).
5. Stereo Speaker – Iphone 7 is the first iphone to feature stereo speakers. The speakers are located at the top and bottom side unlike the previous iphone model that only has speaker at the bottom.
