Most of us would probably wish to go somewhere in Tagaytay or Baguio this summer. To find a cooler place to relax and enjoy vacation. Unfortunately not everyone has the capacity to do so and the said places are so crowded.

I just want to share with you a place that is not very known to everyone that offers almost the same athmosphere as the two said places. Located at 56 Marcos Hi-way, Mayagay, Tanay, Rizal; Sierra Madre Hotel and Resort is the place to be.

10455448_10205262654880229_3959076332936146103_nGoing there is easy only if you have a background of the place. But nowadays almost any smartphone have built-in GPS so there’s nothing to worry. There are two possible routes to get there from Manila. First is to take the long trip suitable for jeepneys, vehicles that carry heavy materials and in the same time if you want to enjoy seeing some of the barrios in Rizal before Tanay such as Cainta, Taytay, Angono, Binangonan and Baras. Obviously, it will really take longer time compared using the route from Cogeo to Antipolo, Baras and then Tanay. My friends and I were in the jeepney and left 10 minutes advance than our Pastor who uses a Bighorn vehicle. Along the way we were looking for them and assuming that we are taking the lead because we can’t see them. Surprisingly, they are able to be there earlier than us because they use the shortcut route.

Facebook launches Web-based Messenger

On the other hand, this application lets the user to chat with friends without the distraction of facebook and can be viewed anytime.

This facebook web-based messenger version that came out on Wednesday, April 8, 2015; is available at Messenger.com. It is separated from facebook but they need to log in to the social network to use it.

Facebook offers Free Internet connection

Facebook in partnership Smart Communications Inc announced the launching of a app that offers free internet for the Philippine users. The application is called to offer free internet is called internet.org and can be downloaded via Googles playstore. The internet.org app will offer free mobile internet connection without data charges for subscribers of Smart,TalkNText and Sun.

Unfortunately internet.org only provides free mobile internet for limited websites. But those websites are very essential to everyone.

Smart Communications Inc is the first telco company to offer internet.org app in the Philippines. According to estimates from the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines, only 38 percent of the Filipino had Internet access. This initiative aimed to make mobile Internet services available to two-thirds of the world who are not yet connected, said Zuckerberg in his Facebook post.

“We’re one step closer to connecting the world as we launched Internet.org in the Philippines. Now everyone in the country can have free access to Internet services for health, education, jobs and communication on the Smart network,” he said.
